UPPER WEST SIDE: Box Truck Accident Kills Male Pedestrian By West 95th Street and Amsterdam Avenue

ELDERLY MAN KILLED IN BOX TRUCK ACCIDENT WHILE CROSSING STREET

UPPER WEST SIDE, NEW YORK (February 24, 2017) – An 83-year-old pedestrian died while crossing the street near Amsterdam Avenue Friday morning and getting hit by a tractor trailer.

Police have not yet been able to identify the man that was killed in the fatal accident. Paramedics rushed the victim to the hospital, but doctors were not able to save him.

The New York police department will continue to investigate the crash.
