FATAL ACCIDENT REMAINS UNDER INVESTIGATION

FREEMONT, NEW YORK (January 15, 2017) – Police are trying to determine what caused a fatal accident on I-295 after a car spun out in the middle of the road and caused a Milk Truck to flip over.

Authorities have been able to identify the name of the person that died in the accident as Richard Clark.

The crashed happened on a Saturday in the afternoon. The driver of the car that spun out in the middle of the road only suffered minor injuries.

Spin outs can happen for a variety of different reasons. Often times they can occur after a tire blowout or due to water buildup in the roads.

Roads have to properly maintained in order to make sure that the surfaces don’t become slick. We encourage the police to investigate this accident thoroughly for the sake of all of those affected.
