CONSTRUCTION ACCIDENT INJURES 5 PEOPLE IN ROOF COLLAPSE

YONKERS, NEW YORK (January 15, 2017) – A construction vehicle left at least 5 people injured it fell through the roof of a wholesale store in Yonkers, according to NBC.

The police have not yet been able to identify why the Bobcat was on the roof or whom it belonged to.

There is a parking lot above the store, so the roof seems to be able to consistently hold lots of weight. It remains a mystery why the Bobcat fell through the roof.

Roof collapses can happen for a variety of reasons including poor construction. Police will have to investigate this accident thoroughly in order to determine liability.
