QUEENS: Rakesh Ram Dies In Construction Accident at Napa Auto Parts

FREAK ACCIDENT WITH FORK LIFT KILLS CONSTRUCTION WORKER

QUEENS, NEW YORK (February 24, 2016) – The NY Daily News is reporting that a construction worker was tragically killed after being pinned by a van and a forklift.

There is no word yet on whether or not the forklift involved in the incident malfunctioned.

Police have identified the man that died as Rakesh ram. The equipment involved in the incident belongs to the FDNY.

The 28-year-old worker that died tragically appears to have put the forklift in neutral before it rolled forward unexpectedly and killed him.

He was rushed to the hospital, but doctors were not able to save him.

An investigation into the accident is still ongoing.
