WORK ACCIDENT ENDS IN TRAGEDY
LAKEVILLE, NEW YORK (February 1, 2017) – An industrial worker was killed in a fatal accident after becoming trapped in a car, according to the Evening Tribune.
The worker has been identified as John Higgins who was an employee for Crop Production Services.
John Higgins was unloading fertilizer from a rail car when the chute became jammed.
John attempted to clear the hopper rail car but was unsuccessful. Medics arrived at the scene of the accident, but they were not able to revive him.
