WOODBURY: Guardrail Accident Leads To One Death On Long Island Expressway

ONE PERSON KILLED IN MULTI VEHICLE CRASH AFTER CAR HITS GUARDRAIL

WOODBURY, NEW YORK (February 26, 2017) – One person was killed in a multi-vehicle accident after one of the cars hit a guardrail on the Long Island Expressway, according to ABC 7 News.

The identity of the passenger that died in this accident has still not been released.

The driver of the Jeep involved in the accident was ejected from his vehicle and was treated at the hospital  for a serious head injury.

The accident took place on State Route 347 in Port Jefferson. Police are saying that the Jeep struck another vehicle as the driver was making a left turn.

Police have not been able to identify either of the drivers involved in the crash.
