BROOKLYN: School Bus Crash Injures School Girl in Crown Heights

GIRL IN CRITICAL CONDITION AFTER BEING RUN OVER BY SCHOOL BUS

BROOKLYN, NEW YORK (Febraury 24, 2017) – An 11-year-old girl was seriously injured after a school bus driver making a turn ran her over.

The schoo bus driver hit the girl at Nostrand Avenue and St. John’s Place. Police are saying that the child was in the crosswalk at the time of the accident.

One witness says that the bus driver was turning the corner in a manner that was unsafe. Her book bag was hit by the bus and then she was run over after being knocked down.

The girl was transported via ambulance to the hospital where she was treated for her head injuries.

The police have not yet indicated if they are going to press charges against the driver of the school bus.
