THREE PEOPLE KILLED IN SMALL PLANE CRASH
LONG ISLAND, NEW YORK (February 26, 2017) – The FAA is investigating a small plane crash that left 3 people dead, according to ABC News.
The police are saying that the pilot was practicing take offs and landings at the time of the accident.
Take offs and landings are typically the most dangerous time during flight. It is during this time that the vast majority of small airplane accidents occur.
The Navion F involved in the crash is being studied by investigators who are trying to determine what happened.
The names of the three victims at the Westhamptons crash have not been released yet.
